Why Choose Our Antenatal Classes?

Interactive approach.

These classes give you an opportunity to chat to a real midwife and other families. No pre-recorded videos means you can ask the questions that matter to you! Similarly, connecting with others while learning also makes this a very rewarding experience.

Class sizes are small.

With no more than 10 couples per class you will have the opportunity to interact and ask questions as the class proceeds.

The course includes Hypnobirthing techniques!

We think everyone should have the tools and skills hypnobirthing offers. That’s why we include hypnobirthing teaching within the full length antenatal classes. You also get 3 birth relaxation and preparation audio tracks free to download.

Up to date and evidence based.

We check all information provided against national recommendations and professional guidance such as that from the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists.

Kathryn is an excellent presenter who taught us all of the main knowledge that we needed regarding the birth and care for our baby. She was very engaging and planned varied activities. I liked the way she presented some information in a lighthearted and humorous way. I would highly recommend Kathryn’s classes and we thoroughly enjoyed them.

We went in not really knowing what to expect…but we were pleasantly surprised by how much we gained from the sessions. Kathryn is very friendly and approachable and gives you an unbiased insight into the labour and birth of your baby. We feel much more confident to tackle parenthood now! Would definitely recommend. Thanks again Kathryn

We completed the labour essentials online session this morning, and both of us feel so much more prepared and informed. Kathryn’s relaxed and honest style really suited us, and we will definitely be booking further sessions with her. It makes me realise how amazing our midwives are! Information was helpful for both prospective mum and dad’s. Kathryn is very easy to talk to and made all the information accessible and concise. Thank you!

As first time parents we were unsure what to expect during and after the birth of our daughter, and knew very little about the options available to us. Kathryn is incredibly knowledgeable and was very quickly able to dispel any fears or misconceptions that we had about labour and delivery, and helped us to make more informed decisions about our birth plan. The classes were highly informative but also fun and informal – much more interactive and engaging than the “powerpoint” style teaching we had experienced in other antenatal classes.

We finished the course feeling excited and confident about the birth – a great start to our parenting journey.

Thank you Kathryn!

Our experience with hypnobirthing.

We had our classes on hypnobirth given by Kathryn and it was really helpful to us. With CoVID lockdowns in place we were not getting any pre birth classes as before and we were in need of a refresher course in birthing itself and how CoVID protocols have affected it all. Kathryn was very helpful in answering all our question with excellent demonstration tools. Her hypnobirthing classes trained us to breath effectively and pull back into our happy place, to deal more effectively with the pain during birthing process. We could really see the difference between the birth of our first daughter and second son.

Thanks Kathryn for all your help and efforts.
